Rules of Conduct


Royal Palms is Private Property. The parking lot, grounds, pools and common areas are for the sole and exclusive use of owners and owners’ family members, guests and tenants. Guests may not invite others to use the pool, beach
access or amenities unless they are also registered guests staying at Royal Palms. Be prepared to show your room key or reservation receipt.

  • In the interest of safety, children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by and under the supervision of a parent or responsible adult at all times in the pools, elevators, hallways and common areas.
  • Royal Palms has a zero tolerance policy as to illegal drugs, vandalism and underage alcohol possession.
  • All vehicles must display a valid Royal Palms vehicle identification while parked on premises. Only owners “of record” (whose name appears on the Warranty Deed of record) may display a Royal Palms owner decal and park in
    designated owner parking areas. Owner decals cannot be loaned to extended family members or to friends who do not have actual ownership of a unit at Royal Palms, or to rental guests.
  • Please do not fly kites, feed birds or throw objects, including cigarettes, off the balconies or onto grounds.
  • Please do not hang towels, flags or clothing on balcony rails.
  • No grilling, open fires or cooking of any kind is allowed on the grounds, parking lots, pool areas, balconies or hallways. (Gulf Shores Fire Ordinance)
  • Rental tenants and guests may not bring pets on the premises. Only owners are permitted to have small pets (20 lbs. or less) in units.
  • Please store all personal items inside your unit. Floats and beach chairs can be stored in the storage room located next to the elevator on the ground floor.
  • Personal items left in hallways & common areas may be removed and disposed of by maintenance.
  • No trailers, boats, personal watercraft, large trucks, or RV’s are allowed to be parked on Royal Palms premises.
  • Please put only bagged trash in garbage chutes. All other trash must be placed in designated receptacles or in dumpster.
  • Please rinse all sand off outside before entering the elevators or pool areas.
  • Please do not take luggage carts inside units and return carts promptly to ground floor.
  • Housekeeping services and contractors cannot use luggage carts.
  • No skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, etc. are allowed on the premises.
  • No tents may be erected south of the beach rental chairs. Tents must be taken down each night.
  • Fireworks are illegal at Royal Palms, in Gulf Shores and on the beach.
  • Please do not leave baby carriages or strollers to stand in common areas.
  • No loud playing of radios, TV’s, CD players or musical instruments is allowed on the balconies or in common areas.
  • All contractors, installers and repairmen must register with Property Management before work begins.
